About Me

I’ve had a love for street photography since I was a child, long before I knew it had a name. My parents happened to have a book called "The Family of Man," with hundreds of photos by the likes of Bill Brandt, Elliott Erwitt, Robert Doisneau, and Helen Levitt. Later on, I learned about Cartier-Bresson and other classic street photographers. But I wasn't making those kind of images.

Decades later, I took up the challenge of photographing in the streets myself. I am drawn to ordinary people doing ordinary things. To me, it’s all extra-ordinary. Emotion, gesture, connection, humor—we humans are so much more the same than we are different, and hopefully my photos remind people of that.
